Description:
We are looking for bright, independent and motivated students with a background either in computer programming (python), or in hobby electronics to work with either our existing python test infrastructure, or to investigate and build a pick-and-place tool for PCB design. The student needs to be able to address an open-ended task independently, and have an interest in building a quality prototype – either in software of hardware. The engagement is expected to last 8 weeks and students are expected to work approximately 20-30 hours a week. The internship does not involve a stipend. No UW paperwork will be required to be filled other than providing personal particulars to enable lab access.
Qualifications Required:
A background either in computer programming (python), or in hobby electronics to work with either our existing python test infrastructure, or to investigate and build a pick-and-place tool for PCB design.
